My oldest son who is 8 years old hates stuff animals, he says they are for girls. But I had gotten my two youngest sons (who like stuff animals) the stuffed r2-d2 and cp3o and didn't want to leave my oldest son out. Since clones are his favorite character in star wars I hoped he would like it.

He Loves it, it is his favorite toy, he sleeps with it every night, it's the prefect size for his hands, easy to fit in a pocket. He took it to a sleep over and I had other moms asking where I got it. And he has had it for close to 2 years now some of the color has faded but it is in one piece it has held up to a lot of abuse.

I got this toy for my 26-month old. He was learning The "Itisy-bitsy spider" at day care. Needless to say, the doll freaked him out - scared him at first. He did not like it. But after a few plays and dancing arround with him he started to like it.

The toy can not handle too much roughness, as my son grabbed the arm and it came off track and stopped moving. I rotated the arm back into position and after a few plays it started moving again as normal.

Over all this is a fun toy for 3+ age group.

For the second time, I'll have to send my husband to the store to get a new one! I wouldn't even bother, but my 2 year old is completely enamored of this toy. He absolutely loves him. The arm movement for me is not the issue; it will no longer sing or talk at all. It just makes that strange clicking sound when it moves. This is the 2nd time this has happened! My son was extremely upset that his beloved "Planenman" was "broke" and "Mommy fix." Unfortunately, Mommy could NOT fix (even though I replaced the batteries). I wrote to Hasbro the first time it happened, hoping they could offer me a solution or some offer of replacement. I heard NOTHING from them. So I just had my husband pick up another one. That was 2 weeks ago. Now, just 30 minutes ago, the 2nd Spiderman won't sing or talk. I'm at my wit's end. Guess what I'm going to do? Buy another one, bring it home, and return the defective one with the new box and receipt to the store! (Don't worry; I'll tell them it's broken so some other child doesn't get it.) Dishonest? Perhaps a little. But so is selling defective toys to kids...

My son got money from Grandma for his birthday. he wanted to get a Superman toy. [...]. He is extremely happy with it. it is alot bigger than I expected it to be. It is about a foot long. I never even looked at the measurement. The cape is longer. I was expecting a plastic guy with some sort of rubbery elastic cape. However this is a soft toy with a stretchy clothe cape. My son has already swung this around INSIDE and hit his sister with it BUT after he learned the rules he has fine with just holding him and "flying" him through the house. The cape is so light weight that he does not have to RUN to get it to trail behind the toy like it is flying. He LOVES that. He has asked to sleep with this toy BUT I won't let him as the cape is longer than the man and I am afraid he will strangle with it. Maybe that should be in the packaging somewhere as a warning. There are people out there that don't think of that.

We ordered several of the mini plush Sesame Street characters for our toddler (she was around 20 months at the time) and she LOVES them! They are soft and perfect for little hands. The only thing I would point out is that the eyes are hard plastic, not plush, but that hasn't been any issue for us at all. And they are very securely attached, so it's not a safety concern.

Overall, I highly recommend these plush toys. They are made in China, but Gund has a great, long-standing reputation for safety, and is the only company we order Sesame Street plush toys from.

I purchased this Elmo plush doll for my young niece who absolutely loves Elmo! Upon receiving the gift she immediately starting tugging at his arms which don't "stretch" like 'Stretch Armstrong'; instead the arms are not sewn to the shoulders/body so you can pull the arms back and forth through Elmo's upper body in a 'flossing' way.

Although my niece did play a bit rough with it, after the first day Elmo was already missing some of his internals which we just stuffed back in through the arms. If your child will be tossing this around and yanking on it, then it wouldn't be the best bet.

Overall it still did the job and put smiles on my nieces face. I'm sure you could get a plain-old Elmo plush and run into less problems and save a couple bucks.

I've purchase this as a Christmas gift for my 1 year old niece. In researching the "Elmo" toys, this was evaluated as the most cuddliest. The voice/action box comsumes most of his body, so I'm hesitant that she will enjoy "Elmo" as much as her older sister will.

I also question if this is a "new" toy as the fur appears to have been handled quite a bit.

I'm sure the family will find him enjoyable, but as a consumer, I'm not sure it's a good choice for a 14 month old.

I love that you can pull on an arm and the corresponding leg gets shorter and Elmo makes a funny "whoa!" noise and laughs! When my nephew gets a little older, I'm sure he'll appreciate it, as well. If you look up Senor Toro on youtube you can see some videos of this toy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6XFaWodAZc, and its movements are very realistic. he nods his head, paws at the ground a few times and swishes his tail. Then he charges and his feet make a clip clop noise. Overall this toy is incredibly entertaining and fun.

HOWEVER, mine doesn't work quite properly. when I turn the toy on and set it down, it automatically starts up. It doesnt wait for me to clap, and even when it's done, it isn't very sensitive to turning on with a clap, unless you clap loud right next to it. Try to set it down somewhere without it starting up - that's a different story...

The battery was a little bit time consuming to get in, and the fur looks a little cheap, and I must say, the song it plays is very loud. I wish it were possible to deactivate the sound or turn it down.

Having said that, it is still a super entertaining toy any you'll be really entertained by watching him charge things. Definitely a good buy.

I got him for my desk at work, but he is too loud to play his song and charge there, so he just sits on my desk looking cute.

It is very soft, and has taken its' place among the other 'stuffies' that live on his bed. My husband bought this wonderfully scary killer rabbit as a gift for valentines day knowing how much I LOVE Monty Python. It's a well-made stuffed toy with glowing eyes and fearsome teeth. Thankfully the mouth will velcro shut if the teeth are too intimidating. I got to appreciate the gift for 5 minutes before my cat pounced on it and claimed it as his own true love! This toy is so durable that it has now withstood several years of his 'intimate caress' (you know what I mean, Nudge Nudge!). I would post a video review, but that might not be suitable for small children. Overall top notch quality and a great gift for any MP fan of any age (or species).

Why would I rate this toy a 3 for fun and 5 overall? Because it's silly! It does have educational value if you are intending to educate someone on the divinely silly humor of MP, and it is fun in that, well, it's a dead parrot for cryin' out loud. it's even got the nails in its feet from being attached to the perch!

I recommend this because we need to keep the spirit of Monty Python alive, pass it on to our future generations and whatnot. Comedy is important! Especially if it is very silly!

I was frantic about 5 days before Christmas searching, WELL, I came upon Fido. He is adorable. He walks, barks, and flips - perfectly. Actually, if it is off on his flip, there is an adjuster knob to fix any problems. The box it is packaged in has served as a dog carrier and my son walks around carrying his dog in the box. The collar is adorable. The perfect flipping dog for a little boy.

When my 12" DK arrived I was hoping it would be a little better quality made then the 7" DK but it wasn't. Both were made poorly.

Stiching job just isn't very good.

Even New With Tags mine had a hole in it's back! My kids will definetly catch that and start pulling the stuffing out so I'm going to have to sew it up myself...

But if you're like me you'll buy the DK doll anyway so you have the whole Mario/Nintendo gang set... Just wouldn't be the same without DK!
